This means we’ll be having two classes per night on weeknights, regular Friday night dance parties after the group classes, and we’ll be open for private lessons during the day.

Our group classes are designed to build off of the previous weeks’ classes, to form a cohesive dance program, but each class is a stand-alone class so no one should ever feel that they cannot keep up if they are just starting.

Partners are not necessary, though they are helpful so ask to keep numbers relatively even. However, as our classes are social dance classes, we do encourage the regular switching of dance partners throughout the class. This helps ensure that everyone has a chance to practice what is being taught.

No dancer should ever worry that they are not good enough to dance. At some point, every single dancer will have danced with someone who has less experience. This is simply a part of social dancing, and is one of the aspects that makes it enjoyable.

We do recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you can move around in and dance shoes or leather-soled dress shoes for gentlemen and low comfortable heels for ladies.
